Greetings CRA members! Spring has sprung and the beauty of the season is all around us! Colorado provides many opportunities to enjoy nature’s abundance, so let’s all take some time out of our hectic schedules to hear the birds sing and “stop and smell the roses”.
We have some great activities blossoming and I am excited to report that CRA is totally in the game of collaboration, public service, and innovative solutions. Once again, CRA is supporting efforts of Wildlands Restoration Volunteers and will be keeping our members informed of the various volunteer opportunities related to riparian ecosystem restoration throughout the state of Colorado. The Riparian Training Cadre will be holding annual riparian assessment workshops this summer, so please consider attending one of these free classes to learn assessment techniques from the experts. We have been busy working with other non-profit groups to plan the 2009 Sustaining Colorado Watersheds Conference and it is going extremely well. We are proud to help bring such an important watershed education and networking event to our members. We will keep you all posted and look forward to seeing everyone in Vail this October!
One final note to all of our members. We recognize and appreciate the day to day contributions of the individuals supporting CRA, and we value your help in furthering goals and the mission of our organization. Kind Regards.
